Photographic Print. Turquoise metal lantern against the clouds and Chantry Row in the village, Portmeirion.
I read somewhere that Robin Llywelyn, managing director of the Portmeirion, said of McGoohan "He came across as very charming and very pleasant. I also have letters he wrote to my grandfather. He said he had fond memories of the village and his time here, and he said he had some of the Portmeirion pottery. What he created out of The Prisoner at Portmeirion is a lasting piece of TV at its best - it achieved cult status. It's something that we are very proud of."
