Life and Death. Baubles, Snakes and Ladders. My stills of The Avengers and the hearse in between the cemetery gateposts in Harold and Maude were photographed on a retro tv and collaged with tinsel and old wrapping paper baubles and Pine cones. Painting it with rich colour gave it a surreal effect, a strange jewelled Fir tree tv wonderland with a theme of Snakes and Ladders and Life and Death. I like the blurring of images and colour on old tv sets. The image on the top right is a peaceful church and cemetery where I used to wander and sit, the seat there can be viewed in Peace, Gardens, Statues.
This is a Limited Edition Series of 75 but may be purchased as a Design. Purchasing this print does not allow reproduction
as a design without discussion of cost and permission.
